BARRIE - While the FORUM Research survey suggests a general level of satisfaction with how the City of Barrie is being run, two newcomers are happy to be calling the city home.

"I like it. It's quiet here compared to Mississauga," she said, while players and hockey moms, dads and grandparents walked past. "The people up here are very friendly."
She said she enjoys some of the city's amenities.
"In the summer I love the parks and the waterfront and since the winter started, I've found the snowplowing is bang on," she said, adding her experience at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre was a good one.
