BARRIE - The future of health care in Simcoe County is looking bright as more doctors are calling Barrie home.
Doctors Devon Turner and Heidi DeBoer recently finished their two-year residency at the state-of-the-art Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU) at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, and are looking forward to starting their careers in the city.

The Barrie and Area Physician Recruitment Task Force (BAPR) has recruited 10 family physicians to the area in addition to 21 specialists in the fields of cardiology, medical oncology and internal medicine.
